VATECH Networks is Korea’s leading business group consisting of 9 affiliates specializing in imaging systems. VATECH Networks runs various sharing activities to secure healthy lives and a better environment, which can then be passed on to future generations. 

 

VATECH Networks set the direction of its CSR activities to: ‘Pursue healthy lives and grow together’. The company's contribution to CSR can be divided into three areas;

 ▶Health - Improving medical accessibilityVATECH Networks donated its X-ray products to seniors in rural areas and foreign workers to enhance their dental health.

Also, the company developed low-end products, helping people in developing countries to have access to appropriate dental treatments.

 

 

 ▶People - Saving energy for the next generationThe company has been running energy saving activities such as using a meal pre-booking system; encouraging the use of reusable cups; and carpool.

According to the report, the rate of leftover food decreased by 44% compared to the previous year, and 67.4% of the employees working at Dongtan headquarter participated in the carpool program.

The carbon footprint reduced by using reusable cups instead of disposable cups had the same impact as planting 45 trees a year.

 ▶Growth - Growing by sharingVATECH Networks’ employees donated a portion of their salary to support treatment costs for patients suffering from malocclusion, developmental disorder, and rare and incurable diseases.

Also, the report details the volunteer activities at local nursing homes and physically disabled children’s facilities.
